Why belong? What do I support?

An international forum for presentation and discussion of new thermal analysis and calorimetry results and applications. Congresses are held every four years. at various world locations, bringing these experts together technically and personally. A variety of valuable publications: Proceedings from each Congress. "For Better Thermal Analysis and Calorimetry" - a brochure containing a wealth of information and bibliographic references. "ICTAC NEWS" - a semi-annual publication for members containing news of meetings, society affairs, reviews and items of special interest to workers in these fields. A bi-annual Membership Directory Internationally accepted standards and nomenclature for thermal methods. Recognition of distinguished contributions to thermal analysis and calorimetry through the TA Instruments -ICTAC Award and the ICTAC Young Scientist Award. Representation of our disciplines in the national and international scientific communities.

Members Only Area

The Members Only Area is available to members to read The ICTAC News Newsletter, participate in polls and voting procedures as necessary.

Help for Members

Only the active registered members can access (login to) this area. If the user is not registered then he has to "Sign Up". There are three type of members: Executive members, Council members and General members.

Sign Up

To sign up a new account click on the Sign Up link on log in page. ‘Username’, ‘Password’, ‘First Name’, ‘Email’ and ‘Address1’ are required fields. User must supply value for these fields.

Every user is identified by their unique "username". So user cannot sign up with an existing "username".

After sign up the member can not instantly access the "Member Area". They can access "Member Area" only after their membership is approved by the Admin.

Forgot Password

Use this link if you have forgotten your password. ‘Forgot Password’ will send you an email with your password.

After successful login user can access the following modules:

Search Member

Shows the list of all members. Members can be searched by username, name or/and country.

View My Profile

Here the user can view his own profile. Other user will see this profile exactly in same view.

Edit My Profile

A user can edit his profile information from here. Username can't be changed. Check ‘show this to others’ if you wish to show relevant information to other members. If nothing is checked, other users cannot view your information. The user can change his password on this page.

Polls

Shows the list of available polls. Different member will see different poll list. Executive members will see all type of polls. Council members can't see the polls created only for the executives. They can see the polls created for general members and council members. General members can see only those polls created for them. They can see the polls created for the council or executive members. Only the published poll will be viewable from this area. One user is allowed to give only one vote for a poll.

Logout from the ‘Member Area’

NB.
Member cannot login into ‘Member Area’ if his membership is expired. Use the Edit My Profile link to change your password.
